Our Creative Resource Group is capable of meeting any of your paper and foam packaging design requirements. Currently we utilize four CAD programs for prototype development;
The prototypes are created using a Kongsberg XL44 sample maker capable of cutting corrugated and polyethylene foam. We utilize CAPE Pack V2 from CAPE Systems to maximize load configurations for both pallet and trailer loading. Additionally, the package and pallet compression estimating program within CAPE is used to determine the best paper combination to maximize the load bearing capabilities of a container while minimizing the fiber content of the container to reduce packaging cost.

In 2007 we installed a Lansmont PDT-56ED Precision Drop Tester with extended platen and base plate. The drop tester utilizes Lansmont Test Partner 3 ETC (SRS capable) hardware and software to measure G levels, shock, deflection and SRS. The accelerometers used with this equipment are PCB Models 356A02 and 356M187 Triaxial Accelerometers and Vibration Sensors ( both are ceramic – shear – ICP).
In 2008 we installed a Lansmont 1800 Vibration Test System with TTV2 control software. We utilize this system to simulate the vibration that a product is subjected to during distribution and transportation. The accelerometers used with this equipment are a Kistler 8704B100 for control and a Dytran 3035B2G for response.
To help our customer maximize their profits we offer package and packaging usage consulting. Our premise is a simple "Packaging cost more to use than it does to buy", meaning our team will perform audits of our customer's facility looking for operational cost savings through work area optimization and package design.
